Tony Mak

Tony Mak is unusually organised for a musician, and he says so himself. He arrives early, knows the running order, and plays what you asked for, which sounds like a low bar until you've booked someone who does none of it. The act shifts to suit the night: solo acoustic, a duo, a full band, or DJ sets when the dancing starts, drawing on everything from the 60s to now. He's Hobart-based and easy to accommodate. Power within about ten metres, some cover in case the weather turns, and for ceremonies in remote spots he brings a battery speaker instead. He holds public liability insurance.
