Male and female leads trading verses, real harmonies over the top, and a cajon holding the whole thing together. That's Tribecca, an Adelaide acoustic trio covering four decades of songs. Bec Francis fronts it on vocals and percussion, with more than twenty years of gigs behind her in Adelaide, Sydney, Seoul and Tokyo, and a habit of getting the room singing rather than watching. Scott Doherty sings and plays guitar, Troy McNamara swaps his kit for cajon and adds low harmony. Scott and Troy have played together most of their lives, which is why the groove sits where it should. They work weddings, pubs and corporate events, and dial the style up or down to suit.
