Trio MRJ play gypsy jazz, and the line-up gives it real character. Rick is a Hobart bassist providing the deep grooves, Javier is a Chilean guitarist who has lived in Hobart for a decade and brings the fiery gypsy flair, and Mess is a French vocalist who sings the repertoire in French, English and Spanish. Three countries in three players. Intimate, warm and elegant, and best suited to a room where people can hear the detail rather than a loud bar.
