Bebop, bossa nova, and a fair bit either side of both. This Melbourne jazz band features vocalist David Ruiz and moves through blues, funk, soul and 50s rock and roll as readily as it plays standards. The group has worked The Langham at Southbank, the Park Hyatt, the Paris Cat Jazz Club, Willow Creek Vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula and Byron at Byron up north, so the room can be a hotel ballroom or a small club without much fuss either way. Alongside public shows the band takes private bookings across Melbourne and surrounds: birthdays, Christmas parties, corporate nights and weddings.
