Allan McConnell produces and engineers, and has been releasing music for more than a decade as half of the duo Close Counters. Originally from Taroona in Tasmania, now Melbourne based. He's performed internationally and around Australia with acts including Duckwrth, Benji Lewis and Dylan Joel, and supported Elton John, Robbie Williams, Shaggy and Bliss N Eso. That's a production background feeding a DJ set, which usually means the records get put together with an ear for how they were built.
