Tyler Shilling

Fifteen years of playing in originals and covers bands across South East Queensland sit behind Tyler Shilling, along with study at both the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and the Jazz Music Institute. He drums and sings at the same time, which is a rarer combination than it sounds and makes him unusually useful in a small line up. The styles run from jazz and soul through to rock and punk. He currently plays drums and vocals with covers group the AJ Trio, drums and sings in post-punk act My Friend Chloe, and is part of neo-soul collective Sixth Of The Sun. He also takes solo and duo acoustic covers work, DJ bookings, fill work on drums and vocals, and studio sessions.
