Formed in Perth in 2022 out of a shared love of the catalogue, Labour Of Love plays UB40 the way it was recorded, locked in and unhurried. The set is generous: Red Red Wine, Kingston Town, Cherry Oh Baby, Food For Thought, Rat In My Kitchen, One In Ten, Many Rivers To Cross, I Got You Babe, Homely Girl, Sing Our Own Song, Present Arms and more besides. They run two one hour sets and take only a fifteen to twenty minute break between them, which pubs appreciate. If you need three hours covered, they'll bring a solo or duo support act or DJ music to bridge it. The band supplies its own equipment, including sound and lighting operators.
