VALERIO FIORINI

Valerio Fiorini is a solo jazz guitarist with formal training in both Europe and Australia. Raised in a musical family in Rome, he began with drums before making guitar his main instrument. Valerio holds a diploma in guitar and music theory from Rome's Ladybird School of Music, as well as a degree in music, jazz performance and jazz history from WAAPA. His further study has included masterclasses with Scott Henderson, Russell Ferrante and Allan Holdsworth. Those foundations feed into a solo style centred on depth, tone and harmonic detail. For listeners, it's an opportunity to hear the guitar carry the full arrangement without needing a rhythm section around it.
