A nomination for Country Woman Vocalist at next year's Tamworth Country Music Festival puts Vanessa among the names rising quickest in Australian country. Alongside guitarist Mick, the duo works out of Parkes playing pub classics, rock and roll, 80s through 2000s material and modern country. Crowd work is the strength here. She adapts what's played to the room rather than running the same list at every venue. They bring PA and lighting, so they need decent access into the venue, cover and power.
