Trash bogans with jazz degrees is how Versace Boys describe themselves, and both halves of that are true. The tracks are raunchy, hard hitting and closer to pop than to anything academic, delivered with big choreographed dance routines, freestyles and a lot of crowd work. The lyrics get at real life-isms under all the noise. Festivals, radio play, Google advertisements and a record deal with Origin Music have followed. Byron Bay based, and genuinely a show rather than a set.
