Tim Scholl performs as Volere, a solo acoustic act on the Sunshine Coast with twenty years of original and cover shows along the east coast behind him and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music from Southern Cross University. His influences run wide, Chuck Berry through Bill Withers, Metallica through Snarky Puppy, and the playing comes out somewhere between rock, jazz, R and B and pop. The stage name is a nod to Withers: Volere is Italian for will. Expect songs from every decade, including plenty you'd forgotten existed, and a Sunday session set that's a different beast from a late dance-floor one. Requests are welcome, and if it isn't on the list he'll often learn it by ear over the break. He can bring his own PA and lighting or use the venue's.
