Way Down South play the blues the way an Australian band should: Mississippi delta influences carried back to the Clarence River. Foot-stomping stuff, drawn from R.L. Burnside, The Black Keys, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Rolling Stones and Ry Cooder, with plenty more beyond that. Based in Coffs Harbour, they cover blues, R&B and general covers. If you want a room that rocks rather than a polite bar-corner shuffle, this is closer to the mark.
