Wayne Pride

Wayne Pride sings, plays guitar and handles compering, with a repertoire past 800 songs that leans into country, fifties rock and roll, country rock, standards and the memory lane material from the fifties through to the seventies. The career behind that is a long one: touring with Charley Pride and Willie Nelson, a support slot with Don Williams in 2004, an introduction on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, over 100 television appearances, and a nationally released album, On the Road, that sold out. The stage work stretches well past Australia too, into America, Britain and Asia. Shows run either with sequenced backing or fully unplugged, and the diary covers corporate functions, weddings, anniversaries, hotels, taverns and sporting clubs.
