weirdtechnogirlfriend and PAUL LE BAY come straight out of Melbourne's underground and make no apologies for it. He was formerly known as Jebu and brings years of studio work and a quiet history with some significant names in dance music; she came up through hardcore before a 4am techno epiphany sent her down the rave rabbit hole. Together they've landed on something fast, loud and slightly unhinged, a mix of Y2K rave chaos, Eurodance highs and Melbourne's own sound, which they call PARTY RAVE. Their EP, titled MAKE 'EM BOUNCE, has picked up support from Dom Dolla, DJ Gigola, Anetha and Danny Avila. Live it's all original productions, stacks of unreleased tracks, and zero downtime.
