Wings Aerial Performers

Lyrical dance, clowning, diabolo and aerial trapeze combine in Wings Aerial Performers, which performs solo or with a troupe and adapts from outdoor aerial shows and black-tie galas to theatre and street performance. Dawn has been developing aerial dance in the state since 2005, taking the act to major arts festivals, community events and outback settings. Career highlights include a performance to 3,000 people a night at Canberra's Enlighten Festival, a win at the 2013 Toronto Buskerfest, a five-week outback tour through dry river beds and cattle yards, a finale for the Joondalup Festival choreographed 30 metres up, a month-long run through the Pilbara and Gascoyne regions, and touring dates in Norway, Ireland and Canada. The act has also picked up Best WA Circus Show at Fringe World, twice, and Toronto Buskerfest's People's Choice Award.
