Descendance

Descendance has taken Australian Indigenous performance to more than 40 countries, appearing at some of the largest events in the world. The show covers all three strands: traditional Aboriginal, traditional Torres Strait Islander and contemporary. Dance sits at the centre of it, with didgeridoo through the music. Because it works as a cultural performance rather than background entertainment, it fits ceremonies, corporate functions with an audience that will actually watch, and festivals. Based in Sydney.
